Beau portrait sur un flan étroit et très épais. Usure importante, mais exemplaire parfaitement lisible. Jolie patine vert d’eau granuleuse, marbrée de marron. Concrétions superficielles

Aélius receives the title of Caesar at the very end of 136. Consul in 137, he becomes Lucius Ælius Verus and is sent as governor to Pannonia in 137. Sick, he returns to Rome and dies on January 1, 138.
