Аверс: описание: Profil à gauche, très stylisé, luniforme, dont la chevelure est surmontée d’une barre et de cinq mèches en forme de crosse. A gauche, croix devant le nez et reste du système de cordons perlés.

Реверс: легенда: ANÉPIGRAPHE.
Реверс: Описание: Grand cheval androcéphale au long col et au profil humain démesuré dont la chevelure forme une longue volute vers la droite. Pas d’aurige. Dessous, personnage hippophore, qui sert à caractériser les émissions attribuées aux Namnètes. Devant l’androcéphale, roue faite de deux cercles inscrits, incluant un cercle perlé. La roue est centrée d’un globule.

ANDECAVI (Area of Angers)
(2nd - 1st century BC)
The Andécaves or Andes, whose territory extended north of the Loire on the banks of the Mayenne, occupied Anjou, which today corresponds to the departments of Maine-et-Loire and Sarthe. Their name is found in the city of Angers, the ancient Juliomagus. They are cited by Caesar in the Gallic Wars. Caesar (BG. II, 35; III, 7, VII, 4; VIII, 26). Ptolemy (G. II, 8); Pliny (HN. IV, 107). Kruta: 69, 366.
