Историческая справка

SERBIA (KINGDOM OF...) - PETER I

(1903-1918)

Under Tsar Peter I Karageorgevich, Serbia drew closer to Russia and posed as a champion of the independence of the southern Slavs. Under the leadership of Minister Pashitch, politics became anti-Austrian and war even threatened to break out in 1908 when Austria annexed Bosnia and Herzegovina. The Balkan wars of 1912-1913, on the other hand, led to the annexation of Macedonia. The Serbian terrorist activity is also important and the organization of the Black Hand seems in relation to the assassins of the heir of Austria-Hungary on June 28, 1914. In 1915, Serbia is invaded. In 1918, it is part of "Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes" called from 1929, Yugoslavia.
