CARIA - CARIAN ISLANDS - RHODES

(3rd - 2nd century BC)

Rhodes, federal capital, was founded in 408 BC, date of the beginning of coinage. Rhodes was besieged by Demetrius Poliorcetes in 305 BC It was a failure.
