Drachme d’un type rare, sur un flan large avec un éclatement sur la tranche. Droit et revers complets mais avec une patine hétérogène

Аверс: легенда: ANÉPIGRAPHE.
Аверс: описание: Tête à gauche, avec cheveux courts et emmêlés ; œil rond duquel part une rangée de points vers la nuque ; oreille absente.
Обратная сторона
Реверс: легенда: ANÉPIGRAPHE.
Реверс: Описание: Croix bouletée au centre, formée de quatre cantons, chacun ornés d'une lunule ; une oreille tournée vers l'extérieure au 3e canton.
Комментарий
L’exemplaire S. 315** qui a été prise comme monnaie type pour illustrer l'ouvrage de G. Savès provenait de la collection Charra et précédemment du trésor de Béziers qui fut découvert en 1871 ; il contenait entre 750 et 800 drachmes.

This people who occupied most of the departments of Aude and Hérault is mentioned neither by Ptolemy, nor by Strabo, nor by Caesar. Their coinage is known to us only by the treasures of Béziers (Hérault) discovered in 1871 and which contained between 750 and 800 coins of Languedoc style as well as that of Moussan in the Aude, discovered in 1967 and which contained 28 drachmas of style " Languedocian".
