Ce denier est frappé sur un flan assez large, irrégulier et est échancré. La croix du droit apparaît légèrement en négatif au revers. Exemplaire présentant quelques faiblesses de frappe au niveau des légendes

LA MARCHE - COUNTY OF LA MARCHE - CHARLES OF FRANCE
(1315-1322)
The county of La Marche was confiscated in 1308 from Guy de Lusignan and integrated into the kingdom. Louis X le Hutin, to conciliate his brother Charles le Bel at the time of his marriage to Clemence of Hungary, gave him the county of Marche. Charles of France (1294-1328), on the death of Philippe V le Long, became king of France under the name of Charles IV. The county of Marche was again attached to the kingdom.
