Exemplaire de qualité exceptionnelle sur un flan ovale, bien centré des deux côtés. Très beau portrait de Lucille. Joli revers de haut relief. Très belle patine de médaillier avec des reflets mordorés. Conserve la plus grande partie de de son brillant de frappe et de son coupant d’origine

Augusta
Born in 149, Lucille was married by her father to Lucius Vérus in 164. She may have received the title of Augusta in 161. After the death of her husband in 169, she married Pompeianus, an old senator, friend of Marcus Aurelius. When Commodus succeeds his father, he honors his sister, but Lucille plots against him. She was exiled to Capri, then executed in 182.
