Exemplaire sur un petit flan épais, bien centré des deux côtés. Beau portrait. Joli revers. Patine de collection ancienne avec des reflets mordorés

PLUTIA

This coin has left no trace in Roman history. Theodore Mommsen, the great German historian of the 19th century (History of Roman coin, t. II, translated by J. de Witte, op. cit., p. 300), considers that the name of Plutia is not to be assimilated with the gens Plautia or Plotia, but refers to a different gens. Gaius Plutius is the only member of the gens to have coined.
